Manufactures of Adhesive products need a way to ensure that the overall colour of their products are the same from lot to lot.

Production changes can alter the base colour and the consumer predominately perceives: 

·         Different shades to be off and wrong colour

·         Different shades will not match the partnering surface and therefore it is wrong

·         An off colour product may perceive that the product is defect.

The company needs to produce the product to a certain target as colour & appearance perception influences the customers buying decision.
