Cie standard observerA hypothetical observer having the tristimulus colour-mixture data recommended in 1931 by the CIE for a 2° field of vision (x, y, z or x2, y2, z2). A supplementary observer for a larger 10° field (x10, y10, z10) was adopted in 1964.
